I painted this in Cubilla, in the province of Soria, Spain, last summer. I don’t know why, but I look a little bit like a cartoon version of Spanish actor Imanol Arias. I guess that’s what happens when I smile in pictures.

I managed to rescue some tiny pieces of white, in order to make a few changes to the “salt and pepper” self-portrait, before I go shave off my silly beard. I still want to give some roundness to the eye, but now I’m really out of white. I won’t say anymore here.
