I was given the job of redesigning JournalbytheSeas.com, a wonderful blog featuring posts on animals, relationships, recipes and gardens, created by author Patricia Selbert. The old blog was busy, filled with background images of beaches, coconuts, birds and seashells, but it was missing an identity. I created a header logo, placed over a peaceful image of the Caribbean for a simple solution. It was very simple to make, and the client loved it. It’s great when things work this way. And also when things work after many hours of brainstorming and letting the ideas brew.
