Over my lifetime, I’ve photographed many people and almost never had my picture taken with them. Well, no more. Thanks to The House of Six Doors, the book by Patricia Selbert that I designed+, I’m making friends faster than you can say “impatient cow, moo!” I’m posting these photos here to celebrate the launch of the book that we’ve been working so diligently to be born today. As you can tell, my eyes have dark black circles around them in the photo below (from too much action and not enough sleep), taken only a couple of days ago, during the photo shoot with Kurt Russell.

As much as I have been involved in the birth of this book, it’s the story itself what deserves the attention. I fell in love with the novel before I became entangled with it. I recommend buying it from Powell’s, although you can also get it at the Apple iBook store. If you live in Santa Barbara, you could get it at The Book Den or at Chaucer’s. You can also get it at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
