As a freelance journalist and photojournalist, I've been fortunate to cover multiple subjects, from traveling and cars, to culture, sports and science. I've interviewed Kobe in the Lakers dressing room; I've lived in a shanty town in Lima; I've witnessed Tony Hawk do the 900; I've raced fast cars around racetracks, and have won driving competitions against other journalists. But what I've always loved the most is interviewing interesting people. I've been lucky to have Isabel Allende, Amy Tan, Gore Vidal, Antonio Banderas and others open the doors to their homes. The book Difference Makers: Portraits of Leaders in the Arts, Social Justice and Sustainability features a sliver of this work.
