I gave my self an assignment to draw a weekly faux New Yorker cover in 2015. Some of these are final illustrations, others are sketches. I made idyllic covers with views of New York; others in memory of  victims of terrorist attacks in France and Nigeria; others featuring Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton, New Yorker editor David Remnick as Cat in the Hat/Eustace Tilley, and Gay Talese; another one about the police investigating its own violent acts in Baltimore; and I even used a photograph (something never done in the history of the magazine, yet).
