I would love to paint
What a beautiful mirror
Lit by winter light
Why do I worry, and a midday siesta.

100 Days of Photographs, Day 1: Vegas or Bust

I was inspired by my friend and birth doula, Virginia Bobro, to do 100 days of photographs. She first photographed a glass during 100 days. And since January 1st, she’s been photographing a pencil. I had been wanting to do the same, and now that I was on a bus to LA (on the way to Las Vegas), I had the time to start the project. It was perfect, as Nancy even gave me a pencil before I boarded the bus, when I asked her for a pen for my trip. But, alas, I lost it after filling up the “comments card” for the Santa Barbara Airbus, before I even took my first of 100 pics! How could I even do 100 days of anything if I lose it on the first day? Then I thought about something I always carry around, and I took my first pic. You could say it’s a bust, or two half-busts. Stay tuned, for I’ll post 99 more.
